Bill Morris is the Owner of Expeditions International and the main guide for all international climbs and treks. He began his guiding career at age 19 in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and was trained by some of the first members of the American Mountain Guides Association in the late 1980s while working for another guide service in Colorado.
In the United States, his guiding has covered trips in Alaska, Colorado, California, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. Internationally, He has climbed and guided over 30 expeditions to Mexico in the past 20 years, nearly a dozen trips to Ecuador, and numerous others to Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina, and Peru. His climbing trips in Europe cover 6 countries, including such classics as the Matterhorn, the Grand Jorasses Walker Spur, the Weisshorn, and the Dulfurspitz . In the Mont Blanc Massif area near Chaminox, his rock passages include multiple ascents including Aguille du Midi, Aguille du Geant and Aguille De L M. Further east his travels have taken him to Mt Elbrus and the Caucaus range, and rock climbing in Thailand and the Philippines. In Africa, he has climbed and guided for the past 11 years including multiple ascents of Kilimanjaro.
Now at 52, he continues to enjoy sharing climbing experiences with people throughout the world as well as in Colorado where he lives with his 11yr old Labrador retriever Annie, who is, by the way, a great backpacking partner.
